Team Revel has had a lifelong love affair with the Isle of Man TT. Our Co-Founders grew up on the Island, attending the races since before they could walk; family members have been involved in the racing teams; Revel is headquartered in Douglas, minutes from the Grand Stand. Simply put, we’re fans.

It’s not only the motorcycle races and official event programme that draws us in each year. We also love the eclectic atmosphere and unrivalled gathering of people hell-bent on living life to the fullest.  This year everyone was on top form with a growing number of bespoke events, interesting endorsements from global brands, unlimited sunshine and a sea of grins to go with it.

While we couldn’t help but revel in the high-octane atmosphere packed with live music, beers, food, fun and sun, we also found ourselves drawn towards appreciating the finer details of what makes this global event a class act.

What we loved about Isle of Man TT 2018

Artisan Food and Drink

Local food and drink was celebrated on a much larger scale this year. Artisan Island at the Grandstand didn’t fail to disappoint with a choice of delicious local fare across two full weeks. A growing number of locally-inspired dishes and artisan produce were noticeably available around the Island.

VIP Experience

Team Revel enjoyed a superb day mingling with the riders and spectating from the primo VIP location. Whilst rubbing shoulders with Prince William was on the agenda, the highlight of the day for Revel was meeting the lovely James Hillier – our favourite rider.

Bushy’s at the Villa Marina

Top marks to the Bushy’s Team for a two-week extravaganza of downright TT fun in the Villa Marina. The stage and sound from our event partners ELS was mind-blowing. Brilliant to see a successful collaboration with further local entrepreneurs including Foraging Vintners, The Fynoderee Distillery and Gef the Mongoose. Photo courtesy of Vannin Photos.

Hooded Ram Festival

A new face and big change on the Promenade, Hooded Ram Festival was a huge success with a flawless line-up of bands owning a stage overlooking the Irish Sea. It was all kinds of epic. Photo courtesy of Hooded Ram Festival

The Red Arrows

You can’t help but love The Red Arrows TT Show – an amazing spectacle over the magnificent Douglas Bay bang in the middle of Race Week. Forever nostalgic and a clear highlight on the fortnight’s line-up of TT events.

Endorsements and Sponsors

Scenic Picnics and Glamping Galore

Loved the sight of bell tents peppered around the Island’s breath-taking landscape as visitor numbers continue to soar. We couldn’t pass up on a bit of seaside foodie action ourselves.

If the attendance trends of recent years continue – we’ll be seeing many more of you celebrating on our shores next year. This Island-wide festival is unlike any other and provides the perfect environment to run brand activations and lively experiential marketing. With this in mind, all we can say is… Watch this space!
